DONE. DONE DONE DONE.
Finally made it into 700c land. Laced the old, but new Deore LX hubs to WTB Dual Duty hoops with Sapim DB spokes and brass nips. Purposely made them beefy cause I’m a clyde and this thing is gonna see a lot of singletrack and gravel. Didn’t take very long. Trued them up on the work stand pretty quickly. Seem stiff as balls laterally, which is great.
Also threw on 11-28 xt 737 type r cassette. Gonna keep me honest about riding since I’m coming down from a 12-32 setup. Youch.
